The Annihilation of Gaza – Opinion

 

All war is hell, all war, evil.  

To “take sides” in any war is to risk one’s livelihood, reputation, and freedom. Laws are currently being passed in the US charging pro-BDS and pro-Palestinian rights revealed or demonstrated in public could be a federal offence, including ridiculous fines and extended jailtime. Educators' and Palestinian activists across the US are being fired from their jobs. This is totalitarianism at its most basic. This tells me these lawmakers and Zionists certainly have something to hide. Free speech and debate are the bedrock of a democracy. We are currently being punished for stating a political opinion. What is next? Concentration camps? 

I have been studying and writing about the occupied territories in Israel for years.  

The Gaza Strip has often been referred to as an open-air prison. The Palestinians are prevented to leave by land or sea, or risk being shot and killed.  

Thousands of the indigenous people have been put in prison without charge. Vast numbers of these prisoners are young children, kidnapped off the streets.  

Israeli settlers have been destroying Palestinian homes since the 1950s’. These occupiers bulldoze their homes and build fancy new ones, and the original homeowners are left with nowhere to go and end up in refugee camps or the Gaza Strip. Palestinian deaths in the West Bank are a common occurrence.  

Israel is an apartheid state.  

The great Nelson Mandala who was imprisoned for 30 years in South Africa, once released, forming a new government, called Israel an apartheid regime. Any aware or sane person can see this oppression. However, those in power, particularly in the US and the UK, ignore this reality, only to spout rhetoric like Israel has the right to defend itself.  

To be certain, I have no argument that Israel should exist, or has the right to defend itself, but not at the violent expense of the Palestinian people.  

When you keep anyone in a cage for years, and rattle it from time to time, once they get out, logically they will turn against their captors. This is what happened on October 7th, 2023. Anyone with a notion of history should understand this. The violence perpetrated on this October day is inexcusable, as all violence should be. The Israeli response to Hamas, relentlessly bombing Gaza into rubble, has now reached the level of War Crimes.  

The UN and the international community have asked for a seize fire, and the transport of humanitarian aid into Gaza. From what we can gather, this aid has been stopped at the border, where only a few trucks are allowed to cross into this war-torn area of Israel.  

When the first hospital was bombed, Israel blamed it on Jihad factions. The evidence Israel provided has since been debunked.  

When it comes to war, we should have learned by now never to believe the consistent cheerleader for war – the legacy press. For many reasons, these major media outlets relish war, promoting the propaganda the government feeds them. (See all US wars since WWII.) 

A US senator, a proud neocon, called the current genocide in Gaza a “religious war” and is extremely angry calling for a full-scale invasion of Iran. Most of the US'S government are calling for the same.  

This is, of course, absolutely insane.  

Face the fact that many US government officials owe their careers to AIPAC. Supporting the genocide of Gaza is a logical career move to remain in office.  

The death toll in Gaza currently cannot be accurately counted because Israel has cut off all means of communication. From the last report, there are thousands of deaths, mainly children.  

It is common knowledge in psychological literature that the psychopath will gaslight their victims, blaming them for the abuse they inflict. Victim shaming. After the poor woman has been beaten to a pulp by her husband, he will say. “Look what you made me do? This is all your fault.” Israel is doing the same to the Palestinians. “You bombed your own hospital. You must be a bad shot.”  

Typical psychopathic behavior.  

When you study the history of the Israel/Palestine conflict, one sees a slow, methodical genocide. Since October 7, 2023, it has become a no holds barred attempt at snuffing out the Palestinians – a full blown genocide.  

To call me antisemitic is absurd. My grandmother was a German Jew, who migrated to Australia because of WWI. A teacher like me, we despised war of any kind.  

Israel is committing genocide before our very eyes. No one is doing anything about it.  

Why?  

Because Israel believes they are above international law or anyone else who points out their crimes against humanity, antisemitic. An old and worn-out excuse.  

Israel will continue to commit war crimes because there are no consequences.  

The junk yard dog has been let off the leash.  

 

 

 

Israel/Palestine & Free Speech - Opinion.

 

All wars are based on lies and deceit. The propaganda on both sides of any war is rolled out to the public from the beginning. Many times, this propaganda can be quite absurd. At the start of WWI, posters appeared depicting German soldiers eating Belgian babies. During WWII, American propaganda about the Japanese showed them as monkied soldiers ravaging the innocent. There are countless examples of these kinds of lies to promote war throughout history. The recent Israel/Palestinian war is no different. The problem, however, is the powers of establishment censorship has become extraordinarily dangerous. To even try discussing the history of Palestine/Israel to place the war in context, for any writer, is a risk.  

When it comes to any war, the principle of free speech goes straight out the window. We must follow the establishment line or risk being banished forever.  

Governments are passing legislation to control disinformation on the internet. X received a mafia style letter from a certain EU representative, threatening Elon Musk if he did not control and censor certain voices that ‘they’ deem illegal. There are already laws currently in effect that prohibit pornography and hate speech, which could well place people in danger. What this stuffy bureaucracy really desires are to control the narrative and prevent any dissenting voices from being heard. This is not about safety, but about ensuring only one voice is disseminated, that of the State.  

Pushing through the propaganda about this current war has not been easy.  

Listening or watching legacy media is akin to reading the Soviet Union’s State newspaper, Pravda. Western propaganda is pro-Israel, and even mentioning the 70-year plight of the Palestinians, having been occupied for decades is never mentioned or disallowed completely.  

I have studied and written about the Israel/Palestinian conflict for years. Of course, the actions of Hamas in the first week of October is reprehensible. The disproportionate response from Israel is also reprehensible. When you understand the occupation of Palestine, and what these people have had to endure over so many years goes beyond the pale.  

A major blowback was inevitable. The way in which Hamas deployed this blowback is inexcusable.  

Emotions run high at the start of every war. Some of the things said by politicians and certain journalists border on the ridiculous and close to outright insanity. Calling the absolute destruction of the Palestinian people is exactly what the Zionists and warmongers in Washington desire, because it will lead to a war with Iran.  

The US has wanted to destroy Iran since their revolution. These sociopaths want to control Iranian oil. This war in Israel could well spark a war with Iran. This will only ignite WWIII, and the destruction of the planet. 

From my observations, this is exactly what these neocon warmongers desire.  

The most diabolical actions in the Israel/Palestinian war, is the bombing in Gaza, turning the land into a parking lot. The second was the bombing of the hospital in Gaza killing over 500 people. This is a war crime. The world has never seen anything like this since WWII. Many Israelis are suffering and held prisoner. Most of these people are innocent. Preventing Gaza from food, water, medicine, and electricity is a violation of international law. All these actions are unacceptable.  

Israel is allowed to do these actions, because like their past war crimes, there are no consequences from the international community.  

The people should have access to food, water, and medicine. Palestinians should be allowed to talk to their loved ones overseas, though cannot because of Israel interference.  

All war is evil.  

All wars have hidden agendas.  

War is a racket.  

This war could lead to further wars down the line.  

The so-called authorities are systematically destroying the principles of free speech to further their own agendas.  

This has become clear in the current Israel/Palestine war.
