The Problem with 'Sound of Freedom' Film.

 

When people have a secret life and commit acts against humanity or some other criminal enterprise, when caught or confronted, the response is anger, denial, or silence...perhaps all three. Married people who cheat on each other sometimes would rather murder their spouse than divorce them. The social stigma of divorce for some is far worse than murder. Some get away with it, and many are caught and live to regret it. "Why did you kill your wife?" the detective asks. "Because divorce is against my religion." The seasoned detective sits back in amazement and responds, "And murder is not against your religion?" The suspect smirks and doesn't respond, remaining silent. When it comes to the film industry, box office sales are paramount. The first 2 weeks will reveal whether the film is a success or a failure. Despite Sound of Freedom's mega first week, most legacy media smirked and ignored this fact, barely mentioning the success of the film. 

Why? 

One of the reasons is the film's subject matter. Child trafficking is not a film for the entire family. In Hollyweird, however, money talks baby. So it would stand to reason that the film's financial success would be lauded and marketed more aggressively. However, when talking heads "critics" do mention the film, they frame it with QAnon, a wild conspiracy movement that believes the elites sacrifice children and drink their blood. Child sex trafficking and the consumption of child pornography is a multi-billion dollar industry, and the United States is the biggest consumer of this evil stench, which is never mentioned.  As Hamlet said, "There is something rotten in the state of Denmark!" (emphasis my own) In the case of  Sound of Freedom's backlash and silence across the media landscape, at least in the mainstream media, causes any thinking person to wonder, Do these people have something to hide? 

Australia follows American culture like a pet poodle. Geopolitically, this is a fact. As far as Australia is concerned, any American war is good, and we'll follow them into the depths of hell. Unfortunately, occasionally I'm exposed to Australian media. Over the last 3 weeks, Sound of Freedom hasn't been mentioned once. It's all about Barbie and Oppenheimer. The latter is certainly not a family affair, but a story about the creation of the most deadly weapon in history, a story that ends in the use of the A-Bomb on Japan, is certainly much more barbaric than a true story about a man who gives up everything to save children from pedophile predators. Therefore the subject matter is not the real issue but something else. 

In my 11 years living in LA. in the '80s, two musician friends of mine, both extremely talented, complained to me about "Satanists" in the industry. Both were told that if they didn't go along, attending bizarre parties where there were displays of the unspeakable involving children, they would never get a deal. At the time, I thought this was a little far-fetched. 

"You mean to tell me, 'Dave', that you have to sell your soul to Lucifer in order to succeed in the business?" I had so much respect for this man that I didn't say anything in hindsight and had doubts. Only two months after this conversation, he left his band, returning to Denver. When I asked another band member why he left, he said, "Man, he was scared. 'Dave' was invited to a party somewhere in Hollywood, and what he saw made him want to run." I asked, "What did he see?" Turning a bit pale, he said, "Some devil shit," What kind of devil shit? I asked. "He wouldn't tell me but booked it back to Denver." Over the years, I've never seen 'Dave' again. Rumor has it that he traveled to Nashville, seeking another career.

For the mainstream press to brush off a film about child sex trafficking is highly suspicious, particularly because of the amount of ticket sales and the millions of positive personal responses from people all over the internet. 

What is even more telling is that the Australian media entirely ignores the film. 

It is a well-known fact that children come across the US borders from Mexico with fake 'sponsor' papers, only to disappear and never be found again. These cases are in the thousands.

 Sound of Freedom is an educational film, a work of art that creates an awareness of a terrible evil that is right before our eyes. 

As the character says in the film, "God's children are not for sale." 

The only problem with this film is those with the money and power want to keep it in the realm of 'conspiracy.' 

Sorry, as they say, the cat's out of the bag.

Awareness of this despicable evil will only grow. 

The US sending Cluster Bombs to Ukraine is a War Crime. Opinion.

 

From the United Nations Office of Disarmament Affairs, the (CCM) Convention on Cluster Munitions states:

(...) prohibits under any circumstances the use, development, production, acquisition, stockpiling and transfer of cluster munitions, as well as the assistance or encouragement of anyone to engage in prohibited activities.  The text of the Convention is available for download in the six official UN languages: عربي, 中文, English, français, русский, español. 

A cluster munition is a weapon consisting of a container or dispenser from which many submunitions or bomblets are scattered over wide areas. Many submunitions are unreliable and fail to explode, thus creating a potential humanitarian impact on civilians both during as well as long after the conflict ends.  The Convention provides a comprehensive international response to the suffering caused by the use of cluster munitions and their remnants, to prevent the proliferation and future use of these weapons. 

The Convention was opened for signature in Oslo on 3 December 2008 and entered into force on 1 August 2010.  

The current Biden Administration's decision to send Ukraine these deadly munitions violates the rules of International Law. Because these weapons are undependable, can sit unexploded for years, only to detonate, murdering innocent civilians years later. The US used these weapons during the Veitnam War, causing death years after this "conflict" was over. 

To be certain, the sheer irresponsibility of this administration, in their neocon efforts to weaken the Russian Federation through the murder of thousands of Ukrainians, will be felt by future generations. That is to say, both Russian and Ukrainian innocents could well be killed after this war is long done. 

What are these warmongers thinking? Similar to the symptoms of psychopathology, a goal will be achieved no matter the consequences. Short-term thinking is only possible because the desires of the psychopath are all it sees. In this case, the proxy war between the US and Russia will continue because of profit and economic hegemony while the rest of the planet suffers. These elite lunatics can only think abstractly and sit in their air-conditioned offices seeking power, money, and glory while millions die. (Human Beings are merely expendable pawns in their games of war). The decision to send cluster bombs to Ukraine is proof of this elitist psychopathology. What's next, Agent Orange? 

The problem is that our leaders believe, for the most part, that we're all stupid sheep. We are uneducated and unaware of history. We only spend our time playing computer games, watching legacy media, and trying to make a living under oppressive circumstances. We are fed lies, and the establishment hope we believe these lies and not Think. (We don't have to think because they do it for us). The catastrophic rise in censorship from the US and Western Europe is, in a word, out of control. 

As I've written many times, this war could have been stopped from the beginning. The US and UK ensured it would continue, pushing lie after lie to ensure absolute planet hegemony and excessive economic profit continues for the Military Industrial Complex. I can see no end in sight. This begs the question: what will be the end game in this war? Looking at US wars over the last 70 years, even at a cursory glance, only death, destruction, and the enrichment of the elite. Death. 

The Biden Administration's decision to send these illegal cluster bombs to Ukraine tells me two things: 1), The Arms industry is running out of weapons, thus Cluster Bombs. 2). The US is getting desperate because Ukraine is losing at the expense of thousands of innocent lives. Perhaps. 

The world understood long ago that cluster bombs are a disaster in terms of now and particularly the future of humanity. 

The US and the antiquated NATO are running on fumes. They're getting nervous, and the desperate do desperate things. Zelensky is a useful idiot, though playing the role well thus far, has become a house of cards about to crumble. 

In my opinion, and many countries around the world agree, Cluster Bombs is a bridge too far. 

 

Assange Extradition a Big Hit on US “Democracy”.

 

Apart from the US participation in a proxy way with Russia, a country with the biggest stock of nuclear weapons, including sending over 150 billion in weapons and aid to Ukraine, and the US Congress only knowing where 30% of this money is going, blocking all efforts at diplomacy, and sword rattling war with China, to add insult to injury, they're extraditing a publisher/journalist based on an antiquated law, the Espionage Act, created by Woodrow Wilson to stop socialist/antiwar dissent during and after WWI, are attacking the Free Press. Whether you care or not, extraditing an Australian journalist for espionage is unprecedented and violates many international laws. If America succeeds in this extradition, it will be the laughingstock of the free world.

Anyone who has lived through or studied fascism understands that the first step is outright censorship. Those in power will shut down any news that will contradict their narrative and dictates. Since the Twitter Files were released, this has become a reality for many. The US government, FBI, CIA, and other security agencies were involved in shutting down many accounts that they deemed harmful. In many cases, Twitter disagreed, but then were subtly bullied into doing so. The best example was the Hunter Laptop story that was shut down for the benefit of the democratic party and presidential hopeful Joe Biden. I believe this censorship worked, enabling Biden to win the election. Just studying Civics in high school, anyone can see these actions as undemocratic.

As it turns out, the revelations from Hunter's laptop got him indicted, though given a slap on the hand because he is a member of the elite. The man's financial criminal violations, using the Biden name as leverage, especially with Ukraine and China, should have landed the man in prison for a long time. He got a “sweetheart deal.” Why? Because he's the US president's son.

As usual, the mainstream media went along with their enablers and called the Laptop story “Russian Disinformation,” and many people, who also went along with Russia Gate, believed the story. (This anti-Russia propaganda fed to the American people and the world has been going on for at least 7 years. A story for another time.)

The current administration is attacking presidential hopeful (Trump) on tacky tick charges of stealing classified information. Most presidents have taken classified documents home, including Biden. Hillary Clinton had her own server, which she later destroyed. Many polls reveal that Trump could win the next presidential election with a landslide. The establishment is trying to prevent this from happening. I've never been a Trump supporter, but what the security state and the democratic party have done to him over the years is untenable. This is not democracy.

Now imagine if the UK and US establishment are successful in extraditing Julian Assange? We know what will happen to him. He'll be put on trial in Virginia, where the jury will be made up of establishment Washington types: CIA, FBI, HLS, and defense contractors. By this draconian law, he is not allowed to put forth a defense, like the information exposed was a benefit for the American people to know what their governments are doing on their behalf. Again, if put on trial, he will be found guilty and sentenced to 175 years in a high-security prison for doing his job as a journalist.

Julian Assange has support around the world. Again imagine the protest in front of the Virginia courts? It would be large and loud, and the establishment police would surely bring out the nightsticks and attack dogs. For the “leader of democracy” around the planet, the USA will look like a totalitarian government. Protests in other countries will take place, revealing that the US is not a true democracy but altogether something else.

The daily hypocrisy in the American government is almost a daily occurrence. When one studies American foreign policy for at least the last 70 years. I don't know whether some of these politicians are merely uneducated about their country and the world, an intentional practice in careerism, or like Lindsey Graham, a relentless pro-war hawk that viscerally enjoys the torture and death of his imagined enemies.

From a public relations point of view, extraditing Julian Assange does nothing for their claim as a world leader of democracy. It will be nothing less than an embarrassment and a huge win for totalitarianism.
